Laborat\u00f3rium elektr\u00f3novej paramagnetickej rezonancie (EPR) Pr\u00edrodovedeckej fakulty UPJ\u0160 pod veden\u00edm RNDr. Erika \u010ci\u017em\u00e1ra, PhD. (erik.cizmar@upjs.sk) bolo vybudovan\u00e9 v r\u00e1mci rie\u0161enia projektu zo \u0161truktur\u00e1lnych fondov \u201eExtrem – Dobudovanie Centra pokroko\u010dil\u00fdch fyzik\u00e1lnych \u0161t\u00fadi\u00ed materi\u00e1lov v extr\u00e9mnych podmienkach\u201d (EU ERDF European Regional Development Fund, Grant No. ITMS 26220120047<\/strong>) Laborat\u00f3rium EPR je umiestnen\u00e9 v priestoroch \u00dastavu fyzik\u00e1lnych vied Pr\u00edrodovedeckej fakulty UPJ\u0160 v Ko\u0161iciach, Park Angelinum 9. V Laborat\u00f3riu EPR je umiestnen\u00fd \u0161pi\u010dkov\u00fd EPR spektrometer Elexsys E500 od firmy Bruker<\/strong> v celkovej hodnote 430 tis. \u20ac (obr. 1). EPR spektrometer je zariadenie ur\u010den\u00e9 na \u0161t\u00fadium magnetick\u00fdch momentov (spinov) v l\u00e1tkach pomocou aplikovan\u00e9ho magnetick\u00e9ho po\u013ea a elektromagnetick\u00e9ho mikrovlnn\u00e9ho \u017eiarenia. V\u00fdskumn\u00fdm zameran\u00edm Laborat\u00f3ria EPR je \u0161t\u00fadium prejavov magnetizmu v r\u00f4znych typoch materi\u00e1lov (molekulov\u00e9 magnety, n\u00edzkorozmern\u00e9 magnety, polovodi\u010de a vodi\u010de s magnetick\u00fdmi pr\u00edmesami, magnetick\u00e9 nano\u010dastice). U magnetick\u00fdch materi\u00e1lov je mo\u017en\u00e9 pomocou EPR napr. \u0161tudova\u0165 magnetick\u00fa anizotropiu (obr. 3), ktor\u00e1 stabilizuje orient\u00e1ciu magnetick\u00fdch momentov v priestore, \u010do je d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00e9 pri n\u00e1vrhu magnetick\u00fdch pam\u00e4t\u00ed.
\u00a0<\/p>\nUmiestnenie laborat\u00f3ria<\/strong><\/h4>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\nExperiment\u00e1lne vybavenie laborat\u00f3ria<\/strong><\/h4>\n
Uveden\u00e9 zariadenie pracuje v oblasti frekven\u010dn\u00e9ho X-p\u00e1sma (frekvencia 9,4 GHz) v magnetick\u00fdch poliach do 1 T. Spektrometer je vybaven\u00fd prietokov\u00fdm h\u00e9liov\u00fdm kryostatom umo\u017e\u0148uj\u00facim pracova\u0165 v rozsahu tepl\u00f4t od 300 do 2 K, programovate\u013en\u00fdm goniometrom pre rot\u00e1ciu vzorky (obr. 2). K dispoz\u00edcii je \u0161peci\u00e1lna referen\u010dn\u00e1 vzorka pre kvalitat\u00edvnu anal\u00fdzu a kalibr\u00e1ciu g-faktora. Je mo\u017en\u00e9 vykon\u00e1va\u0165 aj meranie pomocou tzv. r\u00fdchlej zmeny magnetick\u00e9ho po\u013ea a detekcie prechodov\u00fdch javov pre \u010dasovo z\u00e1visl\u00fa detekciu EPR sign\u00e1lu s rozl\u00ed\u0161en\u00edm 8 ns. Ve\u013emi kvalitn\u00fd rezon\u00e1tor umo\u017e\u0148uje aj o\u017eiarenie vzorky vhodn\u00fdm elektromagnetick\u00fdm \u017eiaren\u00edm v optickej oblasti cez zabudovan\u00e9 optick\u00e9 okienko, napr. pre \u0161t\u00fadium fotoakt\u00edvnych javov.
V Laborat\u00f3riu EPR je umiestnen\u00fd aj EPR spektrometer vlastnej kon\u0161trukcie so tzv. studen\u00fdm rezon\u00e1torom umo\u017e\u0148uj\u00faci mera\u0165 EPR spektr\u00e1 v X-p\u00e1sme (10 GHz) pri teplot\u00e1ch kvapaln\u00e9ho h\u00e9lia a v magnetickom poli do 3 T.
