Poslan\u00edm \u0161t\u00fadia je pripravova\u0165 absolventov pre samostatn\u00e9 rie\u0161enie v\u00fdskumn\u00fdch \u00faloh na pracovisk\u00e1ch z\u00e1kladn\u00e9ho a aplikovan\u00e9ho v\u00fdskumu.\u00a0
Absolventi maj\u00fa vedomosti z klasickej a kvantovej fyziky, po\u010d\u00edta\u010dovej a matematickej fyziky, astron\u00f3mie a astrofyziky, zvl\u00e1dnu experiment\u00e1lne met\u00f3dy materi\u00e1lov\u00e9ho v\u00fdskumu, programovanie a vyu\u017eitie po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov pri automatiz\u00e1cii experimentov, algoritmiz\u00e1ciu matematicko-fyzik\u00e1lnych modelov, ktor\u00e9 poskytuj\u00fa vhodn\u00fd r\u00e1mec i pre rie\u0161enie probl\u00e9mov s priamym dopadom v oblasti spolo\u010densk\u00fdch a ekonomick\u00fdch vied.
\u0160t\u00fadium profiluj\u00fa \u0161peci\u00e1lne discipl\u00edny, ako je \u0161trukt\u00fara tuh\u00fdch l\u00e1tok, kvantov\u00e1 te\u00f3ria tuh\u00fdch l\u00e1tok, fyzika n\u00edzkych tepl\u00f4t, fyzika kovov a magnetizmus tuh\u00fdch l\u00e1tok, po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00e1 fyzika, kvantov\u00e1 te\u00f3ria po\u013ea, te\u00f3ria f\u00e1zov\u00fdch prechodov a kritick\u00fdch javov, teoretick\u00e1 astrofyzika kozmol\u00f3gia, premenn\u00e9 hviezdy a dvojhviezdy.
Individu\u00e1lny pr\u00edstup umo\u017e\u0148uje \u0161tudentom pracova\u0165 samostatne a podie\u013ea\u0165 sa na rie\u0161en\u00ed \u010diastkov\u00fdch \u00faloh v r\u00e1mci dom\u00e1cich a zahrani\u010dn\u00fdch projektov. \u0160tudenti astron\u00f3mie a astrofyziky m\u00f4\u017eu vyu\u017e\u00edva\u0165 najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161ie slovensk\u00e9 \u010falekoh\u013eady a v r\u00e1mci medzin\u00e1rodnej spolupr\u00e1ce aj ostatn\u00e9 svetov\u00e9 pr\u00edstroje. \u010cas\u0165 \u0161t\u00fadia je mo\u017en\u00e9 absolvova\u0165 na zahrani\u010dn\u00fdch univerzit\u00e1ch v r\u00e1mci programov ERASMUS, alebo sa z\u00fa\u010dast\u0148ova\u0165 na letn\u00fdch \u0161kol\u00e1ch fyziky, ktor\u00e9 organizuj\u00fa nadn\u00e1rodn\u00e9 v\u00fdskumn\u00e9 centr\u00e1 (DESY-Hamburg, CERN-\u017deneva, ESRF-Grenoble, ESO-Garching) a z\u00edska\u0165 tak jedine\u010dn\u00e9 sk\u00fasenosti zo \u0161t\u00fadia a pr\u00e1ce v nadn\u00e1rodnom t\u00edme, \u010do mnoh\u00ed \u0161tudenti vyu\u017e\u00edvaj\u00fa.<\/p>\n

pracova\u0165 ako program\u00e1tor a syst\u00e9mov\u00fd analytik,

Biofyzika<\/strong>
Absolvent \u0161t\u00fadia:
je schopn\u00fd aplikova\u0165 vedeck\u00e9 met\u00f3dy v\u00fdskumu a v\u00fdvoja v oblasti fyziky na rie\u0161enie probl\u00e9mov v oblasti vied o \u017eivej pr\u00edrode,\u00a0m\u00e1 koherentn\u00e9 znalosti viacer\u00fdch vedn\u00fdch odborov umo\u017e\u0148uj\u00face efekt\u00edvnu pr\u00e1cu v interdisciplin\u00e1rnych kolekt\u00edvoch,\u00a0vie pou\u017ei\u0165 met\u00f3dy kvantovej ch\u00e9mie, termodynamiky a \u0161tatistickej fyziky v konkr\u00e9tnych aplik\u00e1ci\u00e1ch molekulovej biofyziky,\u00a0pozn\u00e1 \u0161irok\u00e9 spektrum experiment\u00e1lnych met\u00f3d poskytuj\u00face komplexn\u00fd a komplement\u00e1rny poh\u013ead na biologick\u00e9 syst\u00e9my na molekulovej \u00farovni,\u00a0dok\u00e1\u017ee samostatne formulova\u0165 a vypracova\u0165 rie\u0161enia probl\u00e9mov met\u00f3dami molekulovej spektroskopie, kvantovej ch\u00e9mie a chemickej fyziky,\u00a0vie aplikova\u0165 met\u00f3dy po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00e9ho modelovania a interpret\u00e1cie zlo\u017eit\u00fdch syst\u00e9mov,\u00a0je pripraven\u00fd na komunik\u00e1ciu s odborn\u00edkmi v pr\u00edbuzn\u00fdch vedn\u00fdch odboroch (bioch\u00e9mia, bunkov\u00e1 a molekulov\u00e1 biol\u00f3gia, genetika, farmakol\u00f3gia, imunol\u00f3gia, bioinformatika).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fyzika kondenzovan\u00fdch l\u00e1tok<\/strong>
Fyzika kondenzovan\u00fdch l\u00e1tok predstavuje \u010das\u0165 fyziky, s ktorej produktmi sa stret\u00e1vame v najrozli\u010dnej\u0161\u00edch oblastiach \u013eudskej \u010dinnosti, predov\u0161etk\u00fdm kv\u00f4li n\u00e1vrhu a pr\u00edprave nov\u00fdch progres\u00edvnych materi\u00e1lov. Ukazuje sa, \u017ee pr\u00e1ve vlastnosti materi\u00e1lov rozhoduj\u00facim sp\u00f4sobom ovplyv\u0148uj\u00fa v\u00fdvoj v oblastiach informa\u010dn\u00fdch technol\u00f3gi\u00ed, sn\u00edmacej a z\u00e1znamovej techniky, v automobilovom priemysle, v kozmick\u00fdch a medic\u00ednskych aplik\u00e1ci\u00e1ch.
Po\u010das \u0161t\u00fadia sa posluch\u00e1\u010di pripravuj\u00fa na rie\u0161enie fyzik\u00e1lnych projektov, vyu\u017e\u00edvaj\u00fac \u0161pi\u010dkov\u00e9 experiment\u00e1lne zariadenia, ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa ojedinel\u00e9 svojho druhu na Slovensku aj vo svete. S\u00fa odborne veden\u00ed celosvetovo uzn\u00e1van\u00fdmi vedeck\u00fdmi pracovn\u00edkmi.
Odborn\u00e1 sp\u00f4sobilos\u0165 absolventov umo\u017e\u0148uje kvalifikovan\u00e9 prepojenie te\u00f3rie a praxe a kreat\u00edvny pr\u00edstup k rie\u0161eniu probl\u00e9mov z r\u00f4znych oblast\u00ed, v\u010faka \u010domu s\u00fa t\u00edto absolventi na trhu pr\u00e1ce ve\u013emi \u017eiadan\u00ed. Interdisciplin\u00e1rny charakter \u0161t\u00fadia d\u00e1va absolventom \u0161irok\u00e9 mo\u017enosti uplatnenia ako na Slovensku tak aj v zahrani\u010d\u00ed, v poz\u00edci\u00e1ch riadiacich a samostatn\u00fdch pracovn\u00edkov v s\u00fakromn\u00fdch spolo\u010dnostiach ako napr.: US Steel, BOSCH, SIEMENS, MOLEX, NESS a pod..\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jadrov\u00e1 a subjadrov\u00e1 fyzika<\/strong>
Jadrov\u00e1 a subjadrov\u00e1 fyzika prin\u00e1\u0161a fundament\u00e1lne poznatky o z\u00e1kladnej \u0161trukt\u00fare hmoty a z\u00e1kladn\u00fdch interakci\u00e1ch pri vzdialenostiach men\u0161\u00edch, ako s\u00fa rozmery at\u00f3mov\u00fdch jadier ~10-15 m.\u00a0
S\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou \u0161t\u00fadia je kozmick\u00e1 fyzika, z\u00e1klady kvantovej fyziky a kvantovej te\u00f3rie po\u013ea, interakcie kozmick\u00fdch energetick\u00fdch \u010dast\u00edc s elektromagnetick\u00fdm po\u013eom a l\u00e1tkov\u00fdm prostred\u00edm, met\u00f3dy z\u00edskavania experiment\u00e1lnych d\u00e1t, ich spracovanie a fyzik\u00e1lna anal\u00fdza s vyu\u017eit\u00edm v\u00fdkonnej v\u00fdpo\u010dtovej techniky (PC farmy, GRID), modern\u00fdch programovac\u00edch jazykov a nov\u00fdch informa\u010dno-komunika\u010dn\u00fdch technol\u00f3gi\u00ed. \u0160t\u00fadium profiluj\u00fa \u0161peci\u00e1lne discipl\u00edny ako chromodynamika, fyzika element\u00e1rnych \u010dast\u00edc, experiment\u00e1lne met\u00f3dy a aplikovan\u00e1 jadrov\u00e1 fyzika, ktor\u00e1 je zameran\u00e1 na klinick\u00fa dozimetriu, nukle\u00e1rnu medic\u00ednu, diagnostick\u00e9 postupy a izotopov\u00e9 met\u00f3dy.
Dobr\u00e9 z\u00e1zemie pre v\u00fdchovu \u0161tudentov pom\u00e1haj\u00fa vytv\u00e1ra\u0165 aj partnersk\u00e9 ko\u0161ick\u00e9 pracovisk\u00e1: \u00dastav experiment\u00e1lnej fyziky SAV a Oddelenie nukle\u00e1rnej medic\u00edny a r\u00e1diologick\u00e9 oddelenie Fakultnej nemocnice v Ko\u0161iciach.
Neust\u00e1le rast\u00faci v\u00fdznam praktick\u00fdch aplik\u00e1ci\u00ed v pr\u00edbuzn\u00fdch ved\u00e1ch a technike (jadrov\u00e9 zdroje energie, nukle\u00e1rna medic\u00edna, diagnostick\u00e9 postupy, izotopov\u00e9 met\u00f3dy dozimetrick\u00e1 kontrola \u017eivotn\u00e9ho prostredia, vyu\u017eitie \u017eiarenia a r\u00e1dionuklidov v technickej praxi, kozmick\u00e9 po\u010dasie, a pod.) vytv\u00e1ra dopyt po absolventoch dan\u00e9ho \u0161tudijn\u00e9ho odboru a pon\u00faka im \u0161irok\u00e9 mo\u017enosti uplatnenia v praxi.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Absolvent \u0161t\u00fadia sa uplatn\u00ed ako u\u010dite\u013e na z\u00e1kladnej, strednej alebo vysokej \u0161kole, pracovn\u00edk vo vedecko-v\u00fdskumnom \u00fastave, \u0161kolskej spr\u00e1ve, v\u00fdpo\u010dtovom stredisku.
