They found out that green lizard (<em>Lacerta viridis<\/em>) plays reservoir\u00a0role and castor bean tick (<em>Ixodes ricinus<\/em>) vector role for recently newly described bacteria from the genus <em>Cryptoplasma,<\/em> closely related to <em>Anaplasma<\/em> <em>phagocytophilum, <\/em>which causes disease in humans and animals.
