{"id":45205,"date":"2019-05-22T09:52:13","date_gmt":"2019-05-22T09:52:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/prirodovedecka-fakulta\/actuality\/21029\/"},"modified":"2019-05-22T09:52:13","modified_gmt":"2019-05-22T09:52:13","slug":"21029","status":"publish","type":"cpt_aktuality","link":"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/prirodovedecka-fakulta\/en\/actuality\/21029\/","title":{"rendered":"The 4th workshop on Cognitive neuroscience of auditory and cross-modal perception"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>03 \u2013 05 June 2019, Ko\u0161ice, Slovakia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">This workshop will include advanced research talks (and introductory lectures) on a range of topics related to the <strong>neural processes of auditory, visual and cross-modal perception<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The main focus of this year\u2019s workshop will be on <strong>adaptation, learning and training in spatial perception and cognition<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The talks will illustrate the <strong>multidisciplinary character of cognitive neuroscience research<\/strong>, covering behavioral, neuroimaging, and modeling approaches, as well as applications of the research in auditory prosthetic devices.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workshop is aimed at <strong>early-stage and advanced students and young researchers<\/strong>, and it will provide ample opportunities for direct interactions between the lecturers and the attendees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workshop will follow-up on our <a href=\"https:\/\/pcl.upjs.sk\/workshop\/\">previous workshops<\/a>. (An electronic version of the proceedings with lectures and assignments from the previous two workshops is available <a href=\"https:\/\/pcl.upjs.sk\/workshopcd\/\">here<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Format:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1\/2-day sessions, including invited talks, contributed talks, and posters focusing on the topics of <strong>Adaptation, Learning and training, Auditory and cross-modal perception (general), and Vision and other topics in computational and cognitive neuroscience<\/strong>.
