The computing and network node provides the basic communication and computing infrastructure, space for research data and datasets, data backup service and automation of computing service management. It operates in three modes:
- Compute cluster mode,
- cloud mode,
- testing mode.
The compute and network node spaces are characterised by the following features:
- redundant network connectivity – 10Gb/s,
- space cooling by 3 air-conditioning units (22 kW),
- maximum electrical power – 41 kW,
- current free space – 5 out of 10 data cabinets.
