On September 2 – 6, 2024 the Institute of Mathematics of the Faculty of Science, P.J. Šafárik University in Košice will organize the international conference LinStat 2024 – on trends and perspectives in linear statistical inference. The conference is organized under the auspices of the Dean of the PF UPJŠ.
The aim of the meeting is to bring together researchers who share an interest in various aspects of statistics and its applications, as well as in matrix analysis and its applications in statistics, and to offer them the opportunity to discuss current developments in these areas.
Invited speakers will include the winners of the Linstat 2022 Young Scientist Award. The Scientific Committee will award a prize for the best presentation. The awardees will be invited speakers at the next edition.
The conference will be attended by experts from New Zealand, Australia, India, Israel, USA, Canada, Finland, Sweden, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, Poland, and Slovakia.
