At the introductory lecture of Classical and Quantum Computations we had two guests – Daniela Buchtu and Ivana Doboša from Aricoma. Over the 20 years of the course’s existence, we have gradually moved from paper-based calculations to the use of Qiskit and IBM Q System One. Now, for the first time, our students and staff had the opportunity to try out a desktop quantum computer.
This is the result of our multi-year efforts and cooperation within QUTE.sk – Slovak National Centre for Quantum Technologies. We believe that soon, thanks to the skQCI project, we will also have a connection to the quantum communication network at UPJŠ.
