Slovak Research and Development Agency has published the 7th edition of the publication Excellence in Science, which presents the scientific projects that have achieved excellent results. The publication mapping the results of scientific teams in the years 2018-2022 also includes the completed interdisciplinary project led by prof. JUDr. Gabriela Dobrovičová, CSc., that consisted of researchers from the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Science.
The aim of the project “Human-rights and ethical aspects of cyber security” was to create a human-rights and ethical framework for preventive, reactive and research activities in the field of information and cyber security, as well as to determine the extent of the human-rights and ethical framework impact on operational and research activities in the field of information and cyber security.

A significant contribution of this project is the broadening of the interdisciplinary cooperation between the departments of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Science. After the successful solution of the scientific project focused on cybersecurity, the team continues its work on other scientific tasks in the following project titled “Analysis of judicial decisions using Artificial Intelligence”, on which it cooperates with the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic, and in the SOCCER and AI-BOOST projects, which are funded by the European Competence Centres for Cybersecurity and Horizon Europe.
