PROMOTIONAL ARTICLE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Projekt CasProt sa \u00faspe\u0161ne uzavrel, na\u0161e vedeck\u00e9 amb\u00edcie v\u0161ak na\u010falej pokra\u010duj\u00fa<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The CasProt project is over, our scientific ambitions are going on<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Universitas \u0160afarikiana, 18.12.2023<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n V\u00a0z\u00e1vere septembra 2023 vyvrcholila realiz\u00e1cia E\u00da projektu z\u00edskan\u00e9ho v\u00a0r\u00e1mci Horizon Europe H2020 (H2020-Widespread-2020-05-Twinning) Podpora vysokej vedeckej kvality v\u00a0oblasti \u0161t\u00fadia prote\u00ednov na v\u00fdchodnom Slovensku<\/em><\/strong>, zn\u00e1meho viac pod jeho akronymom CasProt<\/strong>. Hlavn\u00fdm rie\u0161ite\u013eom projektu bola UPJ\u0160, konkr\u00e9tne Centrum interdisciplin\u00e1rnych biovied (CIB), Technologick\u00fd a\u00a0inova\u010dn\u00fd park UPJ\u0160 a\u00a0Katedra biofyziky (KBF), PF UPJ\u0160. Cie\u013eom projektu CasProt bolo posilnenie vedeckej kapacity a\u00a0vedeck\u00e9ho profilu UPJ\u0160 v\u00a0oblasti \u0161t\u00fadia prote\u00ednov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the end of September 2023, we have successfully concluded the implementation of the CasProt project, which has significantly contributed to the stabilisation of CIB and its reputation in particular through strengthened collaboration with the partner groups at UZH and TUM. Currently, proteins belonging to the so-called monoclonal antibodies are practically used as approved therapeutic drugs for oncology patients or as anti-inflammatory substances.
