Assoc. Prof. Martin Kundr\u00e1t, PhD. from the Center for Interdisciplinary Biosciences, TIP-UPJ\u0160 managed to implement a project to find the remains of dinosaurs in Uzbekistan in more than two years in the period from September 22 to October 12, 2021 in cooperation with partners from the State Geological Museum in Tashkent. This project was also realized thanks to the support of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Tashkent and in cooperation with partners from the State Geological Museum in Tashkent.
\nField research was carried out at the Jarrakuduk site in the Navo region. The project entitled The Central Asian Paleontological Heritage: The Prehistoric Silk Road is expected to expand to other countries in the Central Asia region in the future and can contribute to improving science, specific education and museums, tourism development and global climate and biodiversity change. of life on Earth.
\nThis first joint Slovak-Uzbek scientific activity was supported, among others, by UNESCO through the Center for Central Asian Studies in Samarkand.<\/p>\n
