This week, the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic held an important meeting to present the project Cassovia New Industry Cluster (CNIC) and release of R&D infrastructure for commercial use in the industrial sector.
The meeting was attended by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, MUDr. RNDr. Ľudovít Paulis, PhD. MPH., Bc. Ivan Drienik, Advisor to the State Secretary, Mgr. Dagmar Augustinská, General Director of the EU Structural Funds Section from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, prof. Mgr. Martin Kanovský, PhD., Director of the Department of Strategies and Concepts of Science, Research and Universities, prof. RNDr. Pavol Miškovský, DrSc., Director of TIP-UPJŠ, Mgr. Roman Oros, Head of the Business and Marketing Department of TIP-UPJŠ and a representative of the World Bank.
A representative of the World Bank presented a case study to improve access to existing R&D infrastructure. Prof. Miškovský with Mgr. Oros presented the key pillars of the strategy to support the successful transfer of technology in the future by enabling R&D cooperation between the public and private sectors through a new funded ESIF infrastructure under the auspices of the new CNIC project.
