Team of Center of Interdisciplinary Biosciences at Technology and Innovation Park of P.J. Šafárik University in Kosice has been awarded by prestigious project within the call Twinning of the framework Horizon 2020. The main goal of the project entitled: “Fostering high scientific quality in protein science in Eastern Slovakia (CasProt)“ is the reinforcement scientific capacity and raise the research profile of the UPJS in the field of protein science. The scientific excellence of the partners of the project, Technical University in Munich, represented by Prof. Mathias Rief and the University of Zürich, represented by Prof. Andreas Plückthun, will trigger the critical steps toward becoming the UPJS as a leader in the field of protein science in Slovakia. This project will also energize a high-tech development and unfold the innovation potential of our University with the expected impact on the Eastern Slovakia region and Slovakia as a whole.
