On september 20, 2021, the habilitation of RNDr. Gabriel Žoldák, PhD. from the Center for Interdisciplinary Biosciences, TIP-UPJŠ took place on the premises of the Rectorate. Dr. Žoldák gave a habilitation lecture entitled Laser Optical Tweezers: from discovery to application and then presented the main results of his habilitation thesis entitled “Study of biophysical properties of proteins using laser optical tweezers”.
Assessors of his habilitation thesis as well as all discussants highly valued the quality and significance of the presented results and the excellent level of the habilitation lecture. All participants agreed that the habilitation of Dr. Žoldák was of a high international standard.
