In order to get your ID card you are supposed to submit the following:
1. a completed Electronic return shall in Academic information system,
2. a fee paid.
You will receive your ID card according to info in News on this website.
New ISIC
Via Electronic return:
- Fill in and confirm the Electronic return in AIS
- Pay the fee from the Electronic return
- Follow the instructions to pick up your card
ER →Payment → New license
Via paper application (transfers from other Universities):
- Register your agreement with the conditions of membership in CKM via AIS
- Visit the AIO Administration
- Fill in the forms provided by the AIO Administration
- Submit a photo to the AIO Report
- Pay the fee (deliver the confirmation to the AIO Administration)
- pick up your card follow the instructions

- Visit the HR department
- Fill out the employee ID application
- Pay the fee
- Submit the forms provided by the AIO Administration request, confirmation of payment (e.g. by email) and a photo (e.g. by email)

Prolongácia
ISIC:
- Create an electronic record
- In El. record select the extension fee when registering
- In El. record the mandatory approvals
- Pay the fee (you can find it under Outstanding Fees in AIS)– by transfer or Payment gateway
- Follow the instructions to extend your license (validity update + sticker)
- You attach the card to the University terminal

- Register your agreement with the conditions of membership in CKM via AIS:
a. Log in to AIS
b. In the left menu, click on Staff Overview. Search for your name, don’t forget to click the arrow on the right
c. At the bottom, click on the runner icon and select Granting consents from the menu
d. Click to agree to the CKM SYTS Membership Terms and Conditions – consent type A + OK - Pay the extension fee (deliver the confirmation to the AIO Administration)
- Come with your card to the AIO Administration

- Fill out the application (from the AIO website or on the AIO Administration) and deliver it to the AIO Administration
- Pay the fee (deliver the confirmation to the AIO Administration)

– travelling with discount ( local travel, intercity travel and railway travel for students 1st and 2nd study degree under 26 years old) – you can buy a student single ticket or a student monthly ticket after having the activation done at the UT.

You can buy paper ticket or charge card purchase after activation at UT. Charging places are at www.dpmk.sk – look for “predajne miesta”.
– travelling without discount – you can buy an adult single ticket or an adult monthly ticket after having the activation done at the UT & after the activation done at DPMK (www.DPMK.sk). After activation, you can buy tickets or charge the card purchase.

Other cards are the same as the ZAM cards. Differences are just in tariffs.
In case that you have lost your ID card you should have it blocked at AIO office & you should apply for the card duplicate.
The ID card should not be carried in the backside pockets of your trousers. It could be damaged there!
You are supposed to activate your ID card at the UT every academic year.
First, make an electronic registration in AIS, then go to the study department for administrative registration (September).
AIS generates a payment order and you can find it between „Unpaid fees“. Fee for prolongation – please, pay by bank transfer at least 3 business days before the expected day of prolongation (preferably before 25th August).
If you take all of these steps in succession, come to prolong your card during the first two weeks of September. Our staff comes to your faculty (Trieda SNP 1, room P3).
If you didn´t make prolongation at your faculty for serious reasons, look to our web site to check the Schedule (www.aio.upjs.sk) and you can prolong your card at diferent prolongation place.
▸ When paying fees, we strongly request that you wait at least 3 business days for the payment to be matched. Thus, the process of transferring the payment from the bank to the academic information system will take place. Do not pay fees twice.

Forms for issuing PIK can student obtain via AIS 2 student, employee from personnel services and the AIO.
You can return your ID card to AIO and/or renew it after graduating.
If you return it to AIO, your card will be stored in the AIO deposit for 5 years.
If you renew it, you can use your ID card for the discounts of contractual partners & ISIC / ITIC (depending on the card),
when your card is activated.
You are not allowed to use it for the following: travel discounts, an entry to the university facilities, as a proof of student status.
- Pursuant to the Rector’s Decision no. 11/2012, every employee and student of UPJŠ is required to have a PIK. The card is a mandatory student ID in accordance with Act 131/2002 Coll. Students are obliged to arrange a confidential one after registration of PIK extension.
- The PIK user is responsible for its proper use. PIK is used within AIO:
- as a student card according to the Higher Education Act;
- as a UPJŠ employee card;
- for proof of identity and authorization for entry to the relevant premises, including accommodation capacities;
- for identification when using the AIO Services;
- for other purposes established and published by the AIO Administration.
