On Saturday, 11 May, we invite you to the Botanical SWAP of plants. Each visitor will receive a gift pack of mycorrhizal fungi from our sponsor Symbiom and a 10% discount at the Botanicafé. The SWAP takes place in the visitor centre of the Botanical Garden of P. J. Šafárik University. The admission to the SWAP is free, the entrance to the garden is charged according to the regular price list.
The SWAP takes place between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. and you can come and swap plants at any time during this interval. However, a complementary programme has also been prepared:
10 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Make your own chocolate with botanical ingredients. Thanks to Forra Chocolate you will be able to combine different special ingredients and create a chocolate according to your own taste.
11 a.m.: Workshop on how to properly tie a bouquet. The florist from the Rosemaria flower shop will show us how to combine colours and types of flowers and how to tie them well in the end.
During the SWAP, the florarium of carnivorous plants that we created at last year’s SWAP will be displayed. You will see how the plants are doing after a year of cultivation and that it really works. More information and updates can be found in the Facebook event.
