In the course of December 2022, the project „Maxi Botany in Practice“ was implemented through the citizens association BotaniKE. This project was realized thanks to the support of the We Love the East Fund of the Carpathian Carpathian Foundation and Deutsche Telekom Services Europe Slovakia.
Six wooden sculptures depicting oversized fruits of selected plants was placed in the area of the botanical garden. Their author is the carver Dávid Máriássy from Košice.
