As the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, UPJŠ prof. MUDr. Daniel Pella, PhD. said at the meeting with the Prime Minister “It is our pleasure to welcome the Prime Minister to our faculty and to hear his words of praise addressed to our students, that are also an appreciation of our entire faculty. We were pleased to boast about the recently renovated exterior, and in part the interior of the entire faculty, and emphasized that this forty-year-old building received this “new dress” almost completely for the funds obtained from our faculty’s extra-budgetary resources. We are no less proud of building the currently largest and most modern Center for Simulator and Virtual Medicine in Slovakia, which we have opened for our students this academic year. The center was also financed mainly from our own resources”.

As noted by prof. Daniel Pella, M.D., PhD., the Faculty Board believes that the education reforms will enable the Faculty to make other investments in the renovation of the building and teaching innovation in the future.
