Outgoing Student Mobilities

The conditions and way of implementing mobilities of FM students within the Erasmus+ programme are regulated by Directive No. 2/2023important to read!

Student Erasmus+ mobility options:
  1. LONG-TERM MOBILITY
  1. STUDY: Students may study at partner universities for one semester or for one academic year, in some cases. It is required to obtain the minimum of 20 credits per semester during the mobility.

Participation in the Erasmus+ study abroad is permitted to any student who passed the selection procedure and completed

  • the 3rd or 4th year of doctoral study programme at the UPJŠ FM (General Medicine, Dental Medicine) and passed all compulsory subjects of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th (if applicable) grade curriculum;
  • the 2nd year of Bc. study programmes of Physiotherapy and Public Health;
  • the 1st year of Bc. study programmes of Nursing and Laboratory Examination Methods in Healthcare.
  1. TRAINEESHIP: Students have an opportunity to perform a professional traineeship within the Erasmus+ programme with min. duration of 2 months (60 days). This traineeship may be voluntary, or students can perform compulsory summer clerkships or the 6th-year clinical rotations abroad with the Erasmus financial support as well.  The traineeship can be implemented at partner university, or the student can arrange it individually in an institution located in an Erasmus+ participating country.  An interinstitutional agreement is not required for implementation of the traineeship. 

Participation in the Erasmus+ traineeship abroad is permitted to any student who passed the selection procedure and completed

  • the 4th year of doctoral study programme at the UPJŠ FM (General Medicine, Dental Medicine);
  • the 2nd year of Bc. study programmes of Physiotherapy, Public Health and Nursing;
  • the 1st year of Bc. study programme of Laboratory Examination Methods in Healthcare.

  1. GRADUATE TRAINEESHIP

Recent graduates can perform the professional traineeship within 12 months of graduation. The duration can range from 2 to 12 months. For graduate traineeships, only the first two months of the mobility are funded. Applicants for the graduate traineeship must apply during the final year of studies. The traineeship can be implemented at partner university, or the student-graduate can arrange it individually in an institution located in an Erasmus+ participating country.  An interinstitutional agreement is not required for implementation of the traineeship. 

  1. SHORT-TERM BLENDED MOBILITY – study or traineeship

A short-term blended mobility consists of a short-term physical mobility (study or traineeship) of students abroad with a duration from 5 to 30 days and of a mandatory virtual element. The financial grant is provided up to the amount covering 5 days of physical mobility and 2 days of travel. This opportunity should be taken up in particular by those students who cannot go on a long-term physical mobility, for example, due to their study field or because they have fewer opportunities for participation.

  1. BLENDED INTENSIVE PROGRAMME (BIP)

BIP consists of a mandatory virtual element and physical mobility, which can last from 5 to 30 days. The length of the mobility is set by the BIP organiser. UPJŠ must have an interinstitutional agreement with the BIP organiser for the specific BIP. The full length of physical mobility is funded, including travel days.
