The Department’s research is dedicated to:
a) etiopathogenetic background of selected diseases and finding suitable molecular markers using modern methods of proteomics, lipidomics and metabolomics or genomics (in cooperation with UEM and other institutions).
b) application of multimodal non-invasive monitoring techniques for measuring physiological functions in man, including autonomic nervous system indices in various pathophysiological conditions (in collaboration with other institutions).
c) pathogenesis and the development of complications in diabetes (gastroparesis, gestational diabetes) in collaboration with other institutions
