Information on subjects and subject requirements
The researchers of the Department of Health Psychology participate in teaching of psychological disciplines and supervision of graduation theses. They also focus on development of research capacities of PhD students by means of courses or individual consultations (methodology and statistics, scientific communication and research project management). They have significantly contributed to preparation of several courses, which became a part of obligatory and optional programs in several fields of study. Apart from this, several psychological courses have been prepared for students of “general medicine” (in Slovak and English) (Health Psychology, Developmental Psychology).
Each year the DHP organizes a series of informal educational activities for PhD students and young researchers in order to enrich their education by specific themes and also with the aim to use the potential of foreign experts.
