The Italian Ambassador to Slovakia, H.E. Catherine Flumiani visited our Faculty and was received by the Vice-Dean for Study Programme General Medicine in English Language and authorized to represent the Dean, prof. Daniel Pella, M.D., PhD. together with the Chair of the Academic Senate of the Faculty, assoc. prof. Ing. Jaroslav Majernik, PhD.
The Ambassador expressed her satisfaction with the quality of studies provided at the Faculty of Medicine, UPJŠ, where 70 medical students coming from Italy study in English.
H.E. Catherine Flumiani also took the opportunity to visit our Centre for Simulation and Virtual Medicine, accompanied by assoc. prof. Majernik, the Head of the Department of Medical Informatics and Simulation Medicine.
