On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, UPJŠ in Košice, Prof. MUDr. Peter Jarčuška, PhD., presented awards for the best diploma theses to three students. A committee led by Prof. Ing. Mária Mareková, CSc., carefully evaluated twenty nominated theses.
Based on professional assessment, the following diploma theses were awarded:
In the General Medicine program, the thesis “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Radionuclide Diagnostics of Parkinsonian Syndromes” by student Samuel Tomášů, supervised by Assoc. Prof. MUDr. Ján Lepej, CSc.
In the Dental Medicine program, the thesis “Conventional and Adhesive Fixation of Fixed Prosthetic Restorations” by student Veronika Keselicová, supervised by MUDr. Marcela Šestáková, PhD.
In the General Medicine program, the thesis “Statins in Untreated Hepatitis B” by student Tamer Safadi, supervised by Prof. MUDr. Peter Jarčuška, PhD.
