In European Dental Students‘ Association meeting that was happening from the 19th till 23rd of August in Berlin, UPJŠ medical faculty student Ivana Ligusová became part of new Executive Committee. She got elected as a Vice-President for Public Relations and will be in office till August 2020.
5th Year student of Dental medicine study program has been an active member of the Slovak Association of Dental Students, which is a member association of EDSA. Last year she was a National Training Officer and published clinical student magazine The Dental Times. She will now use this experience in the European Dental Students’Association, the organization that connects dental associations from 33 European countries and represents more than 70.000 dental students.
“As a Vice-President for PR I will be editing the website edsaweb.org , publishing a newsletter with the selection of interesting studies in dentistry and also be the Editor-in-Chief of EDSA Magazine that is published twice a year,“ says Ivana Ligusová. The student believes, that her new position will give her many new experiences useful for writing clinical articles in the future, but also give new contacts for the Slovak Association of Dental Students.
