Graduation ceremony at the Faculty of Medicine

    The graduation ceremony of fresh graduates of the study programmes Physiotherapy, Nursing Care, Public Health, General Medicine in Slovak Language, Dental Medicine in Slovak language, General Medicine in English Language, and Dental Medicine in English Language took place on July 09 and July 10, 2020.
    Although some universities canceled their graduation ceremony due to the situation with the new coronavirus, our faculty wanted to meet the needs of its students and allowed them to attend the graduation ceremony upon successful completion of their studies, of course, in compliance with the necessary anti-epidemic measures. The graduates, who were able to attend the graduation ceremony together with their loved ones, greatly appreciated the helpfulness of the faculty, as the graduation ceremony is a beautiful completion of a demanding study and an unforgettable moment in the life of every person.
     “I don’t think graduation has ever looked like this before. The class of 2020 who have qualified as doctors in the middle of a pandemic. Whilst it is true that many of us will return to our countries where there is a high risk of infection. I know that we are grateful that we are entering this pandemic well-prepared thanks to our studies and education at this university. So thank you to all of the faculty for being an institute that we can be proud of,” said the fresh graduate Max Seabrook in his ceremonial speech.
