The Hotel Doubletree by Hilton Košice hosted the two-day Cardiology and Diabetology Congress with International Participation “12TH ICCD” on June 9-10, 2023, which featured more than thirty speakers from 17 countries around the world in thirteen expert symposia.
The event was organized by the International College of Cardiology, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Faculty of Medicine, Medipark, and Technical University of Košice.
The main topics of the congress were:
‣ Coronary heart disease in diabetics and non-diabetics, from prevention to intervention
‣ ESC recommendations and their implementation in real clinical practice
‣ Atherosclerosis, dyslipidemia, hypertension, coronary heart disease, heart failure, and innovative diagnostic and therapeutic options
‣ New trends of echocardiography in the clinical diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases
‣ Diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular morbidity/mortality
