Additional elections to the Student part of the Academic Senate of UPJŠ

Dear Students of the Academic Community
of University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik in Košice, the Faculty of Medicine

Academic Senate of UPJŠ, in accordance with the Act on higher education institutions, the UPJŠ
Statute and the Elections Rules of AS UPJŠ, as amended, and on the basis of a resolution of
30 September 2021, announces that

the additional elections of two representatives of UPJŠ FM students
to the Student part of the AS UPJŠ will take place on 20 October 2021.

Additional elections will be made using information and communication technologies from 8.00 to 16.00.

Candidate proposals can be submitted:

• by post or personally at the Mail-room of UPJŠ FM, address: AS UPJŠ FM, Trieda SNP 1, 040 11 Košice, Slovakia in the sealed envelope with the label „Proposal for candidate as a member of the AS UPJŠ“, or
• via university e-mail as an attachment to the message delivered to the secretariat of the Academic Senate: tatiana.hnilicka@upjs.sk and with the indication of the message subject „Proposal for candidate as a member of the AS UPJŠ“.

Candidate proposals can be submitted by any member of the Student Part of Academic Community of UPJŠ. Candidate can also propose himself/herself. Candidate proposal must include:

1. name, surname, degree, faculty, and an evidence year of study
2. written declaration of candidate that he/she agrees with candidature
3. name, surname and signature of proponent/s
4. the consent of the proposed candidate to the processing and disclosure of personal data to the extent and for the purpose set out in Article 5 par. 4 and Article 6 par. 4 of the Elections Rules of AS UPJŠ.

OOnly proposals that meet all the requirements in accordance with the Elections Rules of AS UPJŠ will be accepted. The Election Rules of AS UPJŠ are published on UPJŠ website:
/univerzita/organy-univerzity/dokumenty-as/.

Deadline for nominations: 6 October 2021, 15.00.
