The Institute of Pathology has three classrooms, doctors’ offices, and laboratory.
Teaching takes place in fully equipped classrooms. Students can use light microscopes for independent observation of the specimens. The teachers use light microscopes with a camera system with output to data projectors.
Doctors’ offices are equipped with light microscopes.
The equipment in the laboratory enables routine histological work, special staining techniques, immunohistochemical and immunofluorescence methods. A sledge microtome, thermostats, refrigerators, freezers, scales, stirrer, microscope with camera system, computer technology with microscopic image processing software, PT Link (pretreatment link) to optimize immunohistochemical methods are used for this purposes.
