The Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine UPJŠ
The independent Ethics Committee of the UPJŠ FM in Košice bases its work and adheres to:
• ethical principles of the biomedical research involving human subjects,
• ethical principles of the physiological research performed on animals,
• ethical principles of the physiological studies in humans.
In carrying out its activities, the Ethics Committee follows the statute of the EC UPJŠ FM.

The written opinion of the EC UPJŠ FM will notify the applicant with a comprehensive assessment of the project within 15 days of the application receipt, which is in accordance with the requirements of the Slovak legislation.
