We are pleased to announce that UNIPOC, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine (MF) leadership, has introduced a new elective subject, Mindfulness, specifically designed for medical students. This course offers a unique opportunity to gain practical tools for managing stress and increasing resilience in response to the challenges students face on their demanding path to medical education.
Why should you enroll?
Medical studies are known for their high demands, and many students feel overwhelmed by the responsibilities associated with both their studies and personal life. This course can help you not only manage stress but also improve focus and overall well-being. Tailored to the medical environment, you’ll learn strategies that can be applied during your studies and in your future medical practice.
Main benefits of mindfulness:
- Improved focus: Mindfulness helps enhance attention and concentration, which is crucial for studying and tackling challenging tasks.
- Emotional regulation: Mindfulness supports better emotional management, leading to reduced stress and anxiety.
- Overall well-being: Regular mindfulness practice contributes to better mental health and a sense of physical well-being.
The course is suitable for everyone
Whether or not you have previous experience with mindfulness, this course is open to all. The focus is on experiential learning and the practical application of mindfulness in daily life.
Important note
This course does not replace professional help in the field of mental health. If you are facing more serious issues, we recommend seeking help from a licensed professional.
