The gala evening connected with the awarding of the Science and Technology Award as part of the 20th jubilee of the Science and Technology Week in Slovakia was held in Incheba, Bratislava on November 10, 2023. Eight exceptional personalities and one scientific-technical team working in various fields of science and technology and contributing to the popularization of science were awarded. The Head of the Department of Neurology UPJŠ FM and UNLP Košice prof. MUDr. Zuzana Gdovinová, CSc., FESO, FEAN was honored with the award in the category Personality of Science and Technology for her excellent results in the field of research on strokes and neurodegenerative and demyelinating diseases.
