When translating the narratives of 26 refugees who\u00a0found their new home in Greece from English to Slovak, the future professional translators \u013dubom\u00edr Andrej, Peter Be\u013eu\u0161, Katar\u00edna Machov\u00e1,\u00a0Lenka Liberdov\u00e1, Peter Pazi\u010d, Patr\u00edcia Petick\u00e1, Laura Pron\u011bkov\u00e1, Anna \u0160tofan\u00edkov\u00e1 and D\u00e1vid Voz\u00e1r practiced their acquired knowledge and\u00a0translation skills. Jakub Pa\u013eov\u010d\u00edk, a second year student and a PhD student Mgr. Zuzana Eperje\u0161iov\u00e1 provided their own voices for the Slovak\u00a0audio recordings of the stories. Mgr. Eperje\u0161iov\u00e1 also helped Dr. Janigov\u00e1 with corrections of translated texts and she provided technical\u00a0support for all recordings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All involved, by their professional contribution and human approach helped make the Greek project &#8220;Face Forward&#8230;into my home&#8221; available\u00a0for Slovak speaking public not only in Ko\u0161ice where in Taba\u010dka Kulturfabrik Gallery the official opening of the interactive exhibition\u00a0took place on the 23rd of January 2019 (the exhibition will be there until 22.2.2019), but also on the project website\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.faceforward.gr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.faceforward.gr\/en\/<\/a> where the site visitors may see the artistic portrait photographs of the refugees and listen to the\u00a0recordings of their stories also in Slovak, e.g. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faceforward.gr\/en\/faces-stories\/mo-sabi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.faceforward.gr\/en\/faces-stories\/mo-sabi\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Her Excellency Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in Greece, Madam Iveta Hricov\u00e1 underlined the professional and human contribution of the BAS\u00a0Department in the process of exhibition completion not only by publicly expressing her gratitude to all involved during the exhibition opening\u00a0but also by sending a special letter to Dr. Janigov\u00e1 thanking her for her professional and coordinating work on the project. Her Excellency\u00a0awarded all participating students by certificates and offered Mgr. Eperje\u0161iov\u00e1 an opportunity of a long-term internship in the Slovak\u00a0Embassy in Athens.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I want to express my gratitude on behalf of the BAS Department to Dr. Janigov\u00e1, Mgr.
