After the successful completion of the course Skills for Success \u2013 from university to workplace<\/strong>, which is focused on the so-called soft and hard skills, and which is provided for UPJ\u0160 by trainers of companies associated in the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) and its Business Services Center Forum (BSCF), students of the Department of British and American Studies FF UPJ\u0160<\/strong><\/span> from the AmCham representative Ing. Marek Hrub\u010do<\/strong>, who heads the AmCham office in Ko\u0161ice, and in the presence of the deputy head of BAS FF UPJ\u0160 for pedagogical activities, Mgr. J\u00falius Rozenfeld, PhD.<\/strong> and the head of the department Dr. h. c. doc. Mgr. Sl\u00e1vka Toma\u0161\u010d\u00edkov\u00e1, PhD.<\/strong>, on October 5, 2020 took over the certificates, which will enable them to gain better positions on the labour market not only in Slovakia but also abroad.
\nThis attractive and compulsory elective course necessary for real practice has been implemented at UPJ\u0160 since the academic year 2018\/2019, it has already had four successful semesters with more than 70 graduates, mostly from BAS FF UPJ\u0160. On Monday, October 5, 2020, another semester was opened, which will run online for 20 students of the department due to preventive measures. The course has been launched and is coordinated by the AmCham representatives \u2013 Ing. Peter Rusi\u0148\u00e1k, PhD.<\/strong> and Ing. Vikt\u00f3ria Sus\u0148\u00e1kov\u00e1, PhD.<\/strong>
\nWe congratulate the graduates and wish the current students a lot of success in acquiring these skills, which are very necessary for their future practice.<\/p>\n
