On Friday, 11 June 2021, the Director of the Slovak-French University Institute, doc. PaedDr. Radovan Gura, PhD., used this opportunity to attend the meeting at the Faculty of Arts. In addition to other Slovak and French universities, Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice is also a member of the Institute.\u00a0<br \/>\nRadovan Gura visited the Faculty of Arts of Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice, as the Faculty offers French language studies. In the discussion with the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, prof. PhDr. O\u013ega Orosov\u00e1, CSc., and the Vice-Dean for International Relations, doc. Mgr. Ren\u00e1ta Panocov\u00e1, PhD., they agreed that the French language has its stable place not only in diplomacy, but also in economy. The labour market is looking for future professionals with perfect knowledge of the French language and professional skills that can be further developed through practice. This is exactly what the Faculty of Arts strives to achieve in the study programme <em>English Language and French Language for European Institutions and Economy<\/em> the graduates of which are very successful in these two spheres.<br \/>\nThere was also a talk about specific plans for the future. The Slovak-French Institute is mainly a platform for cooperation among its members. Two members of the Institute from Ko\u0161ice &#8211; Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University and Technical University of Ko\u0161ice &#8211; are planning to strengthen the platform by holding a series of lectures and seminars on European realities and European economy. The lectures will be given in French by university teachers from the Faculty of Arts of Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice and the Faculty of Economics of Technical University of Ko\u0161ice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Mgr.
