The graduate of the PhD study programme in British and American Studies at the BAS FF UPJŠ Dr. Viacheslav D. Shevchenko and his supervisor Dr. h. c. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Slávka Tomaščíková became a Laureate of the international competition “Scientific Book of the Year” awarded in 2021 by the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Russian Federation, for their book Representation of Food in Media Discourses: Cognitive and Pragmatic Aspects (Samara University Press, 2021).
