On 10 October 2022, a ceremony was held to hand over certificates to successful graduates of the previous semester of the course Skills for Success – from University to Workplace, which is provided by the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia and its BSC Forum. The students received their certificates from the hands of the AmCham representative, Dr. Katarína Miňová, working in the position of Policy Manager in the Košice office of AmCham, who together with the head of the Department of British and American Studies FF UPJŠ Dr. h. c. prof. Dr. Slávka Tomaščíková and her deputy for pedagogical affairs Dr. Július Rozenfeld opened another semester of this course.
This semester, the subject has a novelty – students will have the opportunity to complete some blocks directly at the workplaces of trainers and thus get to know their working environment.
For students, certificates are a valuable addition to their CVs, as they are accepted by all member companies associated with the BSCF of the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia.
