On Thursday 9 February 2023, the regional round of the Human Rights Olympiad was held at the BAS FF UPJŠ after a long pandemic break. Almost 40 high school students from the entire Košice Region arrived to prove their knowledge of human-rights topics.
While waiting for the results of the first, written test, students and teachers had the option to participate in a short talk and discussion with Dr. Petra Filipová, on the topic of gender education and the current topic of the rights of LGBTI+ people.
We express our sincere gratitude to CVČ Strojárenská in Košice and Mgr. Mičinská, who coordinated the event, for inviting us to participate in this event. We are looking forward to the next year edition of the Human Rights Olympiad.
