On February 7th, 2024, our PhD students proudly represented the Department of British and American Studies FF UPJŠ at the Kam na vysokú educational fair in Bratislava. We were delighted by the keen interest shown by prospective students in our study programs. The practical aspects of our curriculum, particularly internships and part-time positions within companies, resonated exceptionally well with attendees. Additionally, students expressed keen interest in the prospect of obtaining a double diploma and participating in the Erasmus+ program for international travel opportunities. It was gratifying to see their excitement upon learning that they would be joining the esteemed ranks of Slovakia’s top philology department. We eagerly await the opportunity to welcome them as they commence their first year of studies.
