Students from the Department of British and American Studies FF UPJŠ, accompanied by Dr. Zuzana Buráková, Deputy-Head of the BAS Department, had the privilege of attending the Cup of Tea event organized by the British Chamber of Commerce in its Košice Office. During this event, our two students, Mária Lujza Csorba and Estera Pracuová, had the unique opportunity to participate in a meeting hosted by the British Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic. This meeting took place in the presence of His Excellency Nigel Baker, the Ambassador of the UK to Slovakia, on the 19th of September 2023.
Participating in such an event is just one example of the numerous opportunities that the Department of British and American Studies FF UPJŠ provides to its students. Our primary aim is to offer them valuable networking opportunities, expose them to practical experiences in their respective fields of study, and actively seek potential partnerships and collaborations across various domains.
