After having been cancelled in the school year 2019/2020, we were happy to hear that the 30th Regional round of the Olympics in the French Language was rescheduled to the 29th of March 2021, thanks to the possibilities of the distance learning and communication platform. Despite the difficult conditions of the organization under the direction of the Elementary School Staničná in Košice, the regional competition took place without any problem.
Our BAS Department FF UPJŠ was again represented by PhDr. Mária Paľová, PhD. on the post of the chair of the regional round, and by Mgr. Katarína Kukučková, a member of the board. Successful participants of regional and national rounds are offered to be admitted to some of our study programmes without having to pass admission tests in the given languages.
