The Faculty of Law of the Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice in cooperation with the City of Ko\u0161ice is re-opening the Student Legal Advice Centre for the residents of Ko\u0161ice. Through the Student Law Clinic, the citizens of Ko\u0161ice will have the opportunity to obtain a free legal analysis of their legal problem, which will be prepared for them by students of law under the supervision of experienced attorneys. The legal analysis for the client includes a legal analysis of his\/her case and specific options for its solution.<\/strong> The activities of the Student Legal Clinic are carried out in the following legal areas: civil law, family law, commercial law, labour law, social security law, administrative law and tax law. The activities of the Student Legal Advice Centre do not include the preparation of legal analysis in the field of criminal law.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does the Student Legal Clinic work?<\/strong>
* Appointments must be made in advance
\u2022 by phone at +421 55 6419 385 \/ Office of First Contact – Ko\u0161ice City Hall
\u00a0\u2022 by e-mail to dominika.beckova@upjs.sk<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Appointments can be made from 28 January to 20 April 2025 or till capacity is full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* The meeting will take place on the agreed date at the premises of the Faculty of Law of UPJ\u0160 in Ko\u0161ice (Kov\u00e1\u010dska 30, 040 75 Ko\u0161ice).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clients of the Student Legal Advice Centre:<\/strong>
The clients of the Student Legal Advice Centre are residents of Ko\u0161ice who are in a situation where they need help to solve their legal problem. The client is aware that the legal analysis of his\/her legal problem will be prepared by students of law. The client must provide complete and truthful information about his or her legal problem or situation and clearly articulate the issues or problems to be the subject of the legal analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
