The representatives of the Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice met with the delegation from Ukraine in February 9, 2017. The members of the delegation came from several Ukrainian cities and they were doctors from Ukraine from various fields and teachers, who work in the fields of medical sciences. The guests were greeted at the University by doc. Ing. Silvia Ru\u010dinsk\u00e1, PhD., the vice-rector for international relations and mobility. She and prof. Ing. M\u00e1ria Marekov\u00e1, CSc, the vice- rector for higher education presented the varied possibilities of studies at our university in the Large meeting room of the University. The afternoon programme concentrated on the visit of the Faculty of Medicine and its selected departments (Department of Experimental Medicine,
East Slovak Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, and Paediatric Teaching Hospital). The Faculty of Medicine was represented by the vice-deans prof. MUDr. Eva Mech\u00edrov\u00e1, PhD., doc. MUDr. Jozef Gonsor\u010d\u00edk, PhD., and doc. MUDr. \u017delm\u00edra Macejov\u00e1, PhD.<\/p>\n
The guests from Ukraine (from Ivano-Frankovsk, \u013dvov, Charkov, Kosivo, Verchovina, and \u010cernovice) had the opportunity to spend a\u00a0day at the Faculty of Medicine within the frames of its Open Doors Day event.<\/p>\n
