We would like to warmly invite you to the “Južný Zemplín Excursion”, organized by the EURAXESS Welcome Office at UPJŠ, taking place on the afternoon of April 30, 2025. (Please note that May 1, 2025, is a national holiday in Slovakia.) The event is organised for foreign researchers. The excursion is free-of-charge and the participants will be transported by the Rectorate bus.
Deadline for registrations is 23 April 2025. Do not hesitate! The capacity is limited.

| 4:30 PM | Arrival in Malá Tŕňa – visit to the Observation Tower and a walk through the vineyard area |
| 5:00 PM | Arrival in Veľká Tŕňa – tour of the wine cellars |
| 5:30 PM | Wine lecture, refreshments and wine tasting in a wine cellar |
| 9:00–9:30 PM | Departure |
| 11:00 PM | Arrival back in Košice |
Additional information
- Please bring warm clothes, as the temperature inside the wine cellar is quite low.
- There will be an opportunity to purchase wine from a local producer (cash only).
