On June 23, 2023, in cooperation with the Aurora Alliance, an academic webinar focused on the development of pedagogical skills for teachers was conducted for academic staff of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice (UPJŠ). The webinar was led by Vice-Dean for Bachelor’s and Master’s Study Programs at the Faculty of Law of Palacký University in Olomouc, JUDr. Maxim Tomoszek, PhD. The main theme of the webinar was the utilization of a qualification framework developed by experts from the alliance in formulating the educational outcomes of subjects taught and their transformation into micro-course format. As part of strengthening the internationalization of education and supporting language competence development at UPJŠ, the participants and graduates of the webinar prepared their materials in English.
The webinar is part of a broader educational program carried out from June 23 to July 8, 2023, under the guidance of Vice-Rector doc. Ing. Silvia Ručinská, PhD., and Vice-Rector prof. PaedDr. Martin Pekár, PhD. The outcome of the participants’ activity was the creation of an information leaflet and a 12-week syllabus in English for a selected subject. Throughout the program, participants had access to advice provided by Dr. Tomoszek.
The activities within the educational program were supported by the projects One.Point and HRS4R at UPJŠ.
