On 23 June 2023, a webinar focused on the development of teachers’ pedagogical skills was held for the academic staff of the University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik in Košice (UPJŠ) in cooperation with the Aurora University Alliance. The participants were guided through the webinar by the Vice Dean for Bachelor and Master study programmes of the Faculty of Law of Palacký University in Olomouc, JUDr. Maxim Tomoszek, PhD. The main topic of the webinar was the use of the qualification framework developed by the experts of the Alliance in the formulation of learning outcomes of the provided courses and their transformation into the form of a micro-course. In order to strengthen the internationalization of education and support the development of language competences at UPJŠ, the graduates of the webinar prepared their documents in English.
The webinar is a part of a broader educational programme implemented from 23 June to 8 July 2023 under the guidance of the Vice-Rector Assoc. Ing. Silvia Ručinská, PhD. and Vice-Rector prof. PaedDr. Martin Pekár, PhD. The outcome of the activities of the participating male and female employees was the development of an information sheet and a 12-week syllabus in English on the selected subject. During the duration of the programme, the participants had access to counselling facilitated by Dr. Tomoszek.
The activities of the training programme were implemented with the support of the One.Point and HRS4R projects at UPJŠ.
