The Ethics committee is an independent expert advisory and consultative body of the Rector of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. The Ethics Committee is responsible for reviewing and discussing complaints from members of the academic community and UPJŠ employees concerning violations of the UPJŠ Code of Ethics, good practice of scientific publishing and good research practice.
In accordance with Article 3(1) of the Rector’s Decision No. 21/2022, which issues the Statute and Rules of Procedure of the Ethics Committee of the University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik in Košice and its components, the Rector of the University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik in Košice appointed prof. RNDr. Pavol Sovák, CSc. with effect from 14 February 2023, the Ethics Committee.
