The Faculty of Medicine of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice is an institution with a 65-year old tradition. It started the teaching process in 1948, and from that time it prepared more them 12 000 students for their future career. From 1992 it provides courses in English language as well for international students, and this possibility is used by young people from more 40 countries.
