Aim / Annotation:
The Eleuzína Summer University (LUE) is a project of non-formal education focused on the theme “Dialogue in Democracy: Conservative vs. Liberal.” LUE will take place from August 18 to 28, 2023, in Banská Štiavnica and is intended for young people aged 18 to 30.
The project aims to de-escalate tension between two ideological groups, promote understanding of the ideological and value-based foundations of the conservative and liberal spectrums, and develop skills in conducting dialogue, arguing, formulating personal stances, proposing solutions, and publicly speaking or moderating discussions.
LUE is an Erasmus+ project designed for a selected group of 20 participants who will be accompanied by 9 lecturers (journalism professionals and academics), an organizing team, and a professional facilitator of non-formal education for a duration of 10 days. All LUE participants will have accommodation and meals provided. There is no participation fee for LUE.
