Aim / Annotation:
The project aim is to conduct a survey of the needs of public school teachers in the field of work with a student with depression. The study will serve as the basis for the creation of a teacher’s guide, as well as an educational comic book for young people and a social campaign.
With regards to the evident potential of physical activity in prevention of mental health problems, we plan to pay a special attention on benefits of physical activity on mental health in young people.
- Research report addressed to educational institutions (before research on the needs of public school teachers in working with students with depression)
- A guide in the form of a series of infographics for public school teachers. With a guide of how to work with students in the case of depression or after a suicide attempt;
- Guide for young people in the form of comic book;
- A social campaign addressed to young people, encouraging them to take care of their mental health and familiarizing them with psychological and psychiatric help.
