While it is often said that money cannot purchase happiness, it undeniably plays a crucial role in funding research and fostering innovation. On June 27, 2024, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice hosted a training session for its academic staff, designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the Horizon Europe programme. Distinguished guests, who are both successful applicants and evaluators, shared their invaluable experiences:
- Prof. Mgr. Renáta Panocová, PhD. – Dean of the Faculty of Arts
- doc. RNDr. Jozef Uličný, CSc. – Deputy Director for Development and Quality Management of the Institute of Physical Sciences
- doc. RNDr. Miroslava Rabajdová, PhD., univ. prof. – Vice-Dean for Grants, Development and International Relations of the Faculty of Medicine
The success of the training is evidenced by the interest of the creative employees of UPJŠ who participated in it.
The attendance of academics and researchers from our university serves as a testimony to the success of the training. Participants positively received this initiative and expressed their interest in attending further trainings on the possibilities of the Horizon Europe programme.
The training was coordinated by the organisation team from the Centre for Lifelong Learning and Project Support under the leadership of RNDr. Simona Rindošová, PhD. Other members of the organizing team were Ing. Silvia Medová and Ing. František Lenárt.
We would like to express gratitude to our guests, the organisation team and all the participants.
The training was carried out as part of the implementation of HRS4R at UPJŠ.
