doc. PhDr. Mária Mičaninová, PhD.

Mária Mičaninová is an Associate Professor at the University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik in Košice. Her scientific research focuses especially on Avicebron´s metaphysics and Suhrawardi´s philosophy of illumination. She is the author of several significant monographs, scientific articles and translations. Some of the most important publications are: Avicebron´s Metaphysics, Function of the Imagery in the Philosophy of al-Suhrawardi, The Crown of the Kingdom by Rabbi Shlomo ben Gabirol, Avicebronov The Font of Life and Albert the Great, The synthetic thinking of Solomon ibn Gabirol.
